Antonio Catelani takes part in Per Grazia Ricevuta, a group exhibition curated by Alberto Mattia Martini at Galleria Giovanni Bonelli in Milan. The exhibition reinterprets the ex-voto in a contemporary context, setting history beside the present and tradition beside innovation. According to the curator, the old devotional tradition is combined with new artistic languages and extended to themes such as identity, politics, society and the environment. The installation recalls the way ex-votos are usually displayed in churches, as an accumulation of objects layered over time. More than one hundred and ten artists are included, among them Catelani. The exhibition opened on 23 May 2024 and ran until 27 July 2024.
