Terms of Use
These Terms govern the use of www.rizzutogallery.com (the website), operated by Oliveri Eva, sole proprietorship (ditta individuale) trading as RizzutoGallery, Via Maletto 5, 90133 Palermo, Italy, VAT no. IT06769750826 (the gallery). Full details are in our Legal Notice. They do not limit any right you have under mandatory law, in particular as a consumer.
1. Purpose of the website
The website presents the gallery's programme: exhibitions, artists, artworks, art fairs and news. It does not sell anything online. Information about artworks is indicative and is not an offer to the public (Art. 1336 Italian Civil Code): availability and conditions are confirmed only by the gallery in writing.
2. Intellectual property
Artworks reproduced on the website are protected by copyright and belong to their authors; photographs belong to the photographers credited; texts belong to their authors or to the gallery. You may view, print and share pages for personal, non-commercial use and quote short extracts with the source, as allowed by Article 70 of Italian Law 633/1941. Any other use — in particular reproducing images of artworks — requires written permission from the rights holders, which the gallery can help you obtain.
3. Use of the forms
When you use the contact form, the enquiry form or the newsletter form, you undertake to give truthful data and not to send unlawful, offensive or automated content. How we process your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. Links
Links to other websites are offered for convenience; the gallery is not responsible for their content.
5. Liability
We take care to keep the website accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or interruptions. Within the limits of the law (Art. 1229 Italian Civil Code), the gallery is not liable for damage arising from the use of the website, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
6. Law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. For consumers, the court of their place of residence is competent and any more favourable mandatory rule of the country where they live remains applicable; in all other cases, the court of Palermo is competent.
