Handel Street Projects presents Colours In The Air at Piccadilly Lights, an open-air screening at Piccadilly Circus, London, on 24 February at 6 pm, lasting ten minutes. The project, by David Batchelor, Richard Deacon and Fedja Klikovac, is a series of photographs begun on 24 February 2022 that record places and situations in which the yellow and blue of the Ukrainian flag appear. The series now counts more than 200 images. The screening marks the fourth anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and is realised with the support of Piccadilly Lights. The work was first shown as prints at Handel Street Projects in 2023 as a fundraiser. Signed giclée prints of individual images are available in support of the Ukrainian Emergency Art Fund.
