Richard Deacon takes part in Blickachsen 14, the sculpture biennial held from 18 May to 5 October 2025 in the historic Kurpark, the Palace Park and the Gustavsgarten of Bad Homburg v.d. Höhe, Germany. The fourteenth edition is organised in collaboration with the Sprengel Museum Hannover and curated by Christian K. Scheffel of the Blickachsen Foundation and Carina Plath of the Sprengel Museum. It presents contemporary sculpture by 26 artists in the setting of the historic gardens. Blickachsen has taken place every two years since 1997. The opening ceremony was held on Sunday 18 May at 11:30 am on the Schmuckplatz in the Kurpark. The organisers are the Blickachsen Foundation, the City of Bad Homburg, Kur- und Kongreß-GmbH and the State Palaces and Gardens of Hesse. An exhibition catalogue is announced for summer 2026.
