Richard Deacon: BED at RizzutoGallery, Düsseldorf
RizzutoGallery, Düsseldorf, Germany
13 March – 12 April 2025
RizzutoGallery presents BED, a solo exhibition by Richard Deacon, in its Düsseldorf venue at Ackerstraße 34 from 13 March to 12 April 2025. The exhibition opens on Thursday 13 March, from 5 to 8 pm, in the presence of the artist. On view are Fall, a horizontal wooden sculpture, and a selection of recent works on paper from the series BED, made for the occasion, which gives the exhibition its title. The works on paper are untitled, numbered in the order in which they were made, and built up through successive layers of marks and colours. The gallery's presentation includes a note by the artist, dated 2024, on the word "bed", which he chose as the title of the drawings. The exhibition can be visited on Saturdays from 12 to 4 pm or by appointment.
