LAGUNA: Francesco De Grandi and Katharina Maderthaner open RizzutoGallery's space in Düsseldorf

RizzutoGallery, Düsseldorf, Germany
30 August – 28 September 2024

RizzutoGallery opens its second space, at Ackerstraße 34 in Düsseldorf, with LAGUNA, a double solo exhibition by the painter Francesco De Grandi (Palermo, 1968) and the sculptor Katharina Maderthaner (Meerbusch, 1982). De Grandi shows a series of recent works; Maderthaner presents an installation that gives the exhibition its title, which also refers to the film The Blue Lagoon of 1980. The welcome text is signed by Eva Oliveri and Giovanni Rizzuto, and a mini-book of the exhibition can be downloaded from the gallery's website. The opening takes place on Friday 30 August 2024 at 6 pm, with extended hours over the first weekend; the exhibition then runs until Saturday 28 September 2024 and can be visited on Saturdays from 12 to 6 pm or by appointment.
