Artist
Letizia Lucchetti
Statement
Innocent and witty, Letizia Lucchetti's paintings initially attract by their simple and seemingly naive appearance, then fascinate through the imagery and personal narratives that the young artist masterfully develops.
Her characters' exaggerated smiles, pastel colors, anthropomorphic animals, and symbolic use of inanimate objects have a friendly aspect that on closer inspection can become disturbing, mysterious, or tragically humorous.
