Luigi Presicce curates the eighth Simposio di Pittura at Fondazione Lac o Le Mon

From 17 to 31 July 2026 Fondazione Lac o Le Mon hosts the eighth edition of the Simposio di Pittura, curated by Luigi Presicce with Matteo Coluccia. Participation is by invitation and this year involves three groups of artists: Italian, American and Swiss. According to Artribune, which reported on the edition in September, the session was led by guest curator Lorenzo Emanuele Metzler and brought together twenty-four artists in San Cesario di Lecce, among them Mattia Barbieri, Thomas Berra, Keith Boadwee, Anna Capolupo, Valeria Carrieri, Francesco Lauretta, Monica Mazzone, Michael Wetzel and Andreas Zampella. The days combine readings, portfolio reviews and time for individual and collective painting. Founded by Presicce, the Simposio has gathered painters from Italy and abroad for eight years.
