Artribune interviews Luigi Presicce: «Provincia Cosmica»
On 20 March 2026 Artribune published «Provincia Cosmica. Intervista a Luigi Presicce, l'artista-stregone della Puglia», a long interview with the artist by Alex Urso. The conversation covers the projects Presicce runs alongside his own work. At Thalassa Gallery in Porto Cesareo, directed with Salvatore Baldi and described as a non-commercial space, he chooses the artists, decides how they are shown and writes the texts; two exhibitions have been held so far and a third is in preparation. The interview also discusses the Simposio di Pittura, which he has curated for seven editions at Fondazione Lac o Le Mon; the Scuola di Santa Rosa, founded with Francesco Lauretta in Florence and meeting every Tuesday for about eight years; and the Nuova Scuola di Scilla, created with Anna Capolupo and the Toma family. Presicce says he is currently in residence at Kora in Castrignano de' Greci.
