Lucio Pozzi: ITNESS at Philip Douglas Fine Art, Hudson, New York
Philip Douglas Fine Art, Hudson, New York, USA
13 June – 12 July 2026
Philip Douglas Fine Art in Hudson, New York, presented ITNESS, a solo exhibition by Lucio Pozzi, from 13 June to 12 July 2026. The show was curated by the writer and critic David Ebony together with the gallery's owner, Philip Douglas Heilman. It included four acrylic paintings on canvas from 2025 belonging to the Sephirot series, whose title refers to the Jewish Kabbalah, among them Hesed and Hochmack, each 48 x 48 inches, and Relocations, a 2025 series of ten wall-hung sculptures in painted plywood. Small works on paper and several small oils on canvas from the 1980s were shown in the rear gallery. A printed brochure with an essay by Ebony on Pozzi and the idea of "itness" accompanied the exhibition. The gallery had held its first solo exhibition of Pozzi, The Overlap Paintings, in 2025.
