Lucio Pozzi: Cornucopia, The Bielefeld Watercolors at Hal Bromm Gallery, New York

Hal Bromm Gallery, New York, USA
28 March – 10 May 2025

From 28 March to 10 May 2025 Hal Bromm Gallery, 90 West Broadway, New York, presented Lucio Pozzi: Cornucopia, The Bielefeld Watercolors. The exhibition brought back a series of watercolours first shown in 1982 in the artist's retrospective at the Kunsthalle Bielefeld, Germany; the gallery's announcement reproduces The Big City, a watercolour on paper of 1982. The show honoured Pozzi's ninetieth birthday and marked an association between the artist and the gallery that has lasted more than forty years. It coincided with two other exhibitions in the New York area: Lucio Pozzi: qui dentro / in here at Magazzino Italian Art in Cold Spring, and Dialogues between Italy and America: Jannis Kounellis, Maria Lai and Lucio Pozzi at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York. The opening reception was held on 28 March, from 6 to 8 pm.
