27 September 2026 – 10 January 2027
Lucio Pozzi takes part in A Legacy of Making: 29 Contemporary Artists Inspired by Their Italian Heritage, curated by Joanne Mattera at Hunterdon Art Museum in Clinton, New Jersey. The exhibition looks at how the children and grandchildren of the Italian immigrants who arrived in the United States between the late nineteenth and the mid-twentieth century draw on Italian and Italian American culture in their work. According to the curator's own account of the installation, Pozzi is represented by two oil paintings on canvas from his Rag Rug series, Climbing (2017) and In a Chalice of Aleppo Glass (Rumi) (2019). The other artists include B. Amore, John Avelluto, Elisa D'Arrigo, Claudia DeMonte, Thomas Micchelli, Don Porcaro and Lorenza Sannai. The project is supported in part by the National Italian American Foundation. The exhibition runs from 27 September 2026 to 10 January 2027.
