Jáchym Fleig: Parcours at Kunstverein Linz am Rhein
Kunstverein Linz am Rhein, Markt 9, Linz am Rhein, Germany
5 November – 26 November 2023
Kunstverein Linz am Rhein presented Parcours, an exhibition by Jáchym Fleig, in its space at Markt 9 in Linz am Rhein, Germany, from 5 to 26 November 2023. Fleig developed an installation specifically for the rooms of the Kunstverein. At the finissage on 26 November 2023 the artist spoke with the art and cultural historian Sabine Kampmann. In the conversation, as reported by the Kunstverein, Fleig described his interventions as ephemeral: made to act in their context for a time and then to disappear, as a response to an over-furnishing of the world. The installation was to be dismantled after Advent; until then it remained in place and was opened to children as a play space during the town's Christmas programme. A catalogue of the exhibition was announced for 1 December 2023.
