Jáchym Fleig and Nina Stoelting: TANDEM at Essenheimer Kunstverein
Essenheimer Kunstverein, Essenheim, Germany
3 November – 26 November 2023
Essenheimer Kunstverein in Essenheim, Germany, presented TANDEM, a two-person exhibition by Jáchym Fleig and the Wiesbaden-based artist Nina Stoelting, from 3 to 26 November 2023. The exhibition set Fleig's large sculptural installations against Stoelting's ink drawings, among them the cycle Capriccio, which the Kunstverein describes as visualised music. Fleig works with everyday materials such as MDF panels, cardboard, plaster and polyurethane foam; the works reproduced by the Kunstverein include Reformat, Doppelaggregat and Präparat. The exhibition was organised by the curatorial team of the Kunstverein, Eva Appel, Susan Geel and Helmut Schneider. It opened on 3 November 2023 at 8 pm, with music performed by the violinist Johanna Melchiori.
