Statement
Vittorio Zeppillo approaches art starting from graffiti, currently attending the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. With an aesthetic based on contrasts, he acts according to a series of disharmonious oxymorons: surfaces are now matt-glossy, dry-paste, clean-dirty. The ambiguity of these dichotomies is reported through a sign that seems to perpetually contradict itself, between excited and irreparably broken brushstrokes.
A hybrid bestiary that lives in dreamlike settings and breathes in toxic atmospheres, his pictorialism is the transcription of how his being filters the world.
