Artist
Alvin Ong
Statement
Alvin Ong works with historical and cinematic material, fluidly recombining these sources in his painting practice as explorations of memory, loss and nostalgia, synthesizing mythologies, stories and anecdotes, into non-linear narratives and surreal improvisations.
